Lifewise Coaching

Get clear. Take time to consider what a fulfilling life – a life filled with pleasure, engagement and purpose – means to you personally.

Get courageous. Make the decision to design the life you want for yourself. This sounds simple AND is not necessarily easy. It takes grit and gumption to act on your own behalf and make the changes necessary to lead a life that inspires you.

GET COACHED. Partner with someone who can serve as an expert, advocate, resource, committed listener, and cheerleader in encouraging you to take the necessary steps to be all that you can be and have the life you dream for yourself.

As a LifeWise Coach, I advocate the value and benefit of ongoing soul-searching inquiry, coupled with positive action. I am committed to a fourfold path—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual—leading to a sense of balanced well-being and personal fulfillment. There is an Indian belief that everyone is in a house of four rooms: a physical, a mental, an emotional and a spiritual. Most of us tend to live in one room most of the time, but unless we go into every room every day, even if only to keep it aired, we are not complete.

I come to every conversation steeped in the knowledge gained from having trained in Authentic Happiness Coaching with Dr. Martin Seligman and others, pioneers in the positive psychology movement. The approach focuses on what it means to live a fulfilling life – which is further defined as a life filled with time for savoring and pleasure, focused engagement, and a sense of meaning and purpose. I also bring to my coaching my training in Appreciative Inquiry – a discipline that focuses on the best of what’s so as the starting point for evaluating what’s so and then taking action based on that awareness.
